02 Aug NEPAL – RECONSTRUCTING NAMUNA SCHOOL (VIDEO)
After the earthquake in April 2015, we intervened immediately in several ways. Right after the emergency, we remained in Nepal to rebuild schools, starting from the areas where the earthquake had destroyed 95% of the buildings and where we created temporary classrooms.
Namuna Primary School – latest news on its construction
The reconstruction of Namuna school, in Saramthali municipality, has almost finished.
Its ground floor and 4 classrooms are now ready, while the attic and the roof are still under construction.
We have also built toilets with septic tanks, complying with the single-sex standard and enabling access for disabled people.
