In the 2024 ASIA Calendar, Alessia Bulgari’s photos take us on a real journey into the world of Tibetan children in exile in  among the green valleys and snow-capped plateau of the Himalayas. They attend the Tibetan Children’s Villages, schools founded in the early 1960s by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso, who had just arrived exile in India.

The 2024 ASIA Calendar is a testimony to the history of Tibetan children in exile, to their spontaneity, to the wonder of their inner world. With the hope that their educational and ethical baggage can soon become the heritage of all humanity and contribute to creating a more aware society, based on respect and non-violence.
